Enter the Manor’s front door and hang your coats and bags in the boot room before heading down the hallway to the spacious open-plan kitchen/diner – perfect for dinner parties or an intimate family meal. You’ll find the cosy lounge and games room dotted with plush, comfy sofas and armchairs adorned with opulent throws and cushions. Sink in, switch off and get stuck-in to a movie marathon. Or why not challenge your friends to a round of pool or a board game? You’ll be spoilt for choice with our fun selection of entertainment. The wood burning stove is perfect for getting cosy during winter, whilst the property’s thick 18th century walls keep things nice and cool on those hot summer days. You’ll also have access to our free, superfast WiFi throughout the property for the duration of your stay.

Bed & Bath

Millbank sleeps 10 comfortably, with 5 beautiful double bedrooms, two of them featuring ensuite bathrooms and all of them with luxurious king-sized-beds that guarantee a peaceful night’s sleep. Three of the bedrooms can also be adapted into twin rooms if required. All of the rooms have been decorated to an exceptionally high standard, with plush furnishings and interiors throughout.

The property has three additional bathrooms and two additional WCs with state-of-the-art fixtures and fittings. All three bathrooms have free standing baths, including a stunning copper tub in the family bathroom, and three overhead rain showers.

Cooking & Dining

Take a trip to Amlwch and choose from a wide selection of fresh local produce. The kitchen at The Mill House has everything you need to turn it into a beautiful banquet, including ample work top space, a SMEG range and built-in appliances. The stunning copper taps pay homage to the home’s original occupiers, former stewards of the nearby Parys Mountain Copper Mine, also known as ‘Copper Kingdom.’

Share your feast with friends and family either indoors or outdoors around one of the 10-seater dining tables. You can dine al fresco and fire up the BBQ on warmer evenings.

Gardens & Grounds

Millbank is surrounded by seven stunning acres of landscaped gardens with blooming flower beds and a large paddock area. The former potager (vegetable garden) now boasts a fire pit, where you can toast marshmallows and enjoy the serene seclusion as you take in rolling sea views. Roam around the grounds, relax and reconnect with nature in this secluded oasis.

Two dogs are welcome at the property at a charge of £25 per dog, per week. Do ask if you would like to bring more dogs, and we’ll try our best to accommodate them.

There is onsite parking for up to three cars within the private driveway.

You can check in via our smart locking system at your own leisure.
Before you arrive, we will send you your own unique code for the smart lock that will be valid for the duration of your stay. This means you have the freedom to check in any time you like without having to request it or change your plans. When you want to check out, just send us a quick message and the code will no longer be in use.

Deposit:

If a booking is more than 60 days before the first day of the Rental Period a Booking Deposit plus Booking Fee shall be paid by the Customer at the time they submit the booking to Nook and Key.

If a booking is less than 60 days before the first day of the Rental Period, the full Rental Fee plus any additional charges must be paid at the time of submitting the booking.

The Customer’s submission of a booking is an offer to book the Property. If the Property is available on the requested dates, Nook and Key Escapes will send the Customer a Booking Confirmation. At this point a binding contract incorporating these Terms & Conditions will come into existence. Nook and Key Escapes reserves the right to refuse a booking and if Nook and Key refuse a booking, the Deposit, Rental Fees and any additional charges paid by the Customer will be refunded immediately.

Balance Payment

Unless otherwise agreed by Nook and Key Escapes in writing, the Rental Fee shall be set out on the website at the time of submitting the booking.

Subject to Clause 5, as soon as the Booking Confirmation is sent the Customer is responsible for the payment of the balance of Rental Fees in accordance with the clause along with any additional charges such as optional extras.

Payment of the Rental Fees and additional fees are due 60 days before the first day of the Rental Period and non-payment by the Due Date may be treated as a cancellation.

If the balance of the Rental Fee is not paid by the Customer on the Due Date, then the Customer will be deemed to have cancelled their booking and Nook and Key Escapes shall retain the Booking Deposit and Booking Fee.

Nook and Key Escapes shall not be responsible for sending reminders of the Due Date. The Due Date shall be set out on the Booking Confirmation.

Cancellation:

A booking can only be cancelled prior to the first day of the Rental Period.

A Customer who wishes to cancel a booking must notify Nook and Key Escapes in writing (“Cancellation Notice”).

In the event that a Cancellation Notice is received by Nook and Key Escapes, a cancellation charge is payable depending on the number of days before the first day of the Rental Period. Where a Cancellation Notice is received 30 days or more before the first day of the Rental Period, the Booking Deposit and Booking Fee will be payable. Where a Cancellation Notice is received within 30 days of the first day of the Rental Period, the full Rental Fee will be payable.

Nook and Key Escapes strongly recommends that Customers take out cancellation insurance in relation to their booking.
